Has anybody seen the US Congress?

I would like to address several topics this week, none bigger or smaller than any other, or in any particular order. I would like to start with something that has puzzled me and something I have talked about in previous blogs. Why have we heard absolutely nothing about the Iraq war as it stands today, except for Barack Obama using it as a talking point in rally's and in the 2 debates as a failed policy of the Bush administration? I will tell you why...because the surge worked, we have reduced the amount that we are spending to establish commerce and a viable economy from 80% in 2007, to now 15% in 2008. And quite frankly because with all of the things that are happening positive about the Iraq war and the war against terrorism, it now serves no purpose in this election. So the DBC and the Democrats don't talk about it anymore. So when that stopped being a viable vehicle to use to further their political purpose, they brought out plan B which was manipulating the Housing and Credit markets to make it look like capitalism and free enterprise were the seeds of corruption, and somehow with the help of the DBC, made it out to be the failed policies of the Bush Administration. And of course as I have pointed out previous, the Bail-out failed to instill confidence and keep the market from acting spastic of sorts. As of right now, while I write this excerpt, the market is up 936 points, so as people have removed what money they had left out of the banking institutions, Aig and the failed housing market. Now they are redirecting their remaining assets in to other industries and companies. This coupled with the fact that the Fed put part of the bail-out money back in to the Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae and now buying up the banking industry, the market is coming back. The problem is that when the Fed throws that money from the presses in to the economy that will eventually cause inflation and we have no way of knowing how bad that inflation will be yet. If Obama is elected I will predict inflation rates, within 2 years, that will rival and most likely surpass those rates of the Carter years. But that's ok because Congress will just pass more tax increases and then manipulate the business world again so they will eventually be in control of everything one day. Obama now is even coming out publicly and saying that redistributing wealth is a good thing to do, even though some of us are not surprised by this at all, at least now maybe some people who didn't believe it, have maybe opened their eyes.

Now I would like to point out a few points about our US Congress, and the strong democratic influence since 2006. I seem to remember a Congressional race in Florida back in 2006 where the Democrats in Congress just roasted Mark Foley, the Republican incumbent, for illicit text messages to a female intern. There were Congressional investigations, and peoples heads were gonna roll over it...and they did! Mark Foley lost to Democratic challenger Tim Mahoney, who ran on a campaign that touted integrity and keeping America accountable again. Now ironically at the same exact time in a political race as in 2006, and in the same district, Tim Mahoney has been exposed for having an affair with a young female that received a $50,000 a year job from Mahoney. Now she has been paid off and fired, with $120,000 worth of campaign funds as a severance package. So where is the DBC on this one, and where are all the investigations and all the hoopla surrounding the scandal and the illicit behavior involved at all levels? I don't even need an answer to this from anyone because the answer is as plain as the nose on my face. The Democratic majority and the brotherhood with Rino's in the Congress will not pursue this because it doesn't serve to forward the left wing political agenda that they strive to shove down our throats...that's why! Let's look at Voter Registration Fraud for a minute and make some comparisons there, shall we...

In the 2000 election the Democrats screamed bloody murder that votes were not counted because of the hanging chad debacle in Dade county Florida. The outrage was such that there were concerns of rioting in the streets, and a Candidate pouting and throwing a fit because they couldn't fraudulently win the election. It was a divisive point in our political history, and launched what I call the Democratic campaign to spend millions of taxpayer dollars to fund partisan organizations to further their crooked cause. The Acorn organization is under investigation for voter registration fraud now, but only because the American public raised such a cry of outrage at the pure indignant leaders are on tape, without a sense of conscience, speaking to acorn employees in a convention about how they are going to throw the Republicans out on their ass and get Barack Obama elected. They have been caught registering one person over 70 times with differences in residences with the intention of having that person vote each time for Obama. Not just physically voting, (because we don't have strict enough laws for voters to have to follow), but also their has been intent to also have some of these sent in on absentee ballots in order to flood the system with enough of the illegal votes to achieve their cause because they can't win unless they cheat! I actually have a simple answer to this problem that will no doubt get much thought when I bring it to the house floor in Minnesota during the next session. I plan to try and co-sponsor a law that will change our Social Security Cards to one similar to our drivers license. A plastic card with all our pertinent information including our picture, which you must have with you in order to vote. This card will have info that must be concurrent with information at polling places, monitored by election officials, and would make voter fraud all but impossible. But this will most likely never get any legs in Congress because it would take away the illegal advantage that the Democrats now have.

I would like to address something that Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is now being roasted in the press for saying on Hardball with Chris (in the tank for Obama) Mathews. She was asked a question, within an audio delay, whether she thought that Congress should be investigated. She never did say she thought Congress should be investigated, what she said was, and I am paraphrasing here, "I would like to see the press do an expose' on individual members of Congress and let the people of America decide if which members are anti-American and which ones are pro-American." She has since been questioned by the press and they have made statements to try and make viewers think that questioning Barack Obama's patriotism is somehow a breech of security or something. Listen...He has spent his political career working closely with a known Terrorist (William Ayers), he spent 20 years in a church with a bigot named Jeremiah Wright, who preaches hate America Rhetoric, he has associations with other radical America hating individuals such as Farekon and Father Phlaeger of Chicago's south side. So now in our political life we're now not supposed to judge the character of the men or women running for higher office? I think the fact that Obama has been associating himself with people like that says a lot about his outlook on America as a country. Let's face it, when you speak things that are pure statements of Fascism and Marxism, then you are clearly for something other than what this great country was founded on, such as Capitalism, Free Enterprise and a free nation for it's people and others who would come here LEGALLY!! So to question Mrs. Bachmann because she recognizes a Marxist When she hears one...did you catch that? I said when she HEARS one, not sees one! The press would have you believe that because of what she said about Obama, that she is judging him on his race or looks, and nothing could be further from the truth here. So I would encourage you all to write your congressman/woman and Senator and tell them you don't want a Marxist like Obama in the White house!

PS: I just found out that Colin Powell endorsed Obama for President, is that really a surprise to anyone? Colin Powell is doing nothing more than facilitating his own political career, as Obama had previously said that Powell would be part of his administration. (Rush Limbaugh pointed out how moderate Powell has been since leaving the Bush administration because of it's stance on Affirmative Action). No big loss here, so don't worry about it at all!!

Belmont Stakes in 08'

As I sit here and watch the debate between McCain and Obama it is obvious that McCain has absolutely no idea what the majority of the American people are looking for. He spent the first half hour of the debate talking about reaching across the isle, and McCain/Lieberman, McCain/Feingold and McCain Kennedy. Does he think that the conservatives out there don't know what he has voted for in the last 15 years? He has, as far as I am concerned, lost this Presidential race and given the conservative American public a stiff fist up the rear end. He went after the Democratic Congress with regards to the bail-out problem, and the reform of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Obama spoke very well and although he spoke in platitudes, not specific, he still blew smoke up the viewers butts and came off better in the first third of the debate. Obama was quite eloquent in letting the American people know that he plans on stealing from the hard working wealthy and give it to the lazy do nothing welfare recipients! But he does sell it well to the people that have no clue what Capitalism and free enterprise is all about. Obama again said he will give a tax cut to 95% of the American people, yet I say again for those of you who are new to my blog, only 60% of the American Public pays taxes. But I really doubt McCain will bring that up, because he had 3 opportunities to do it the last time they debated!







Now we're on the global warming issue, and McCain dove head first in to the debate with climate change legislation that he proposed. Why do we propose GREEN jobs when all it means is that we will have the government employ people to work these GREEN jobs. But what most people don't think about is that when you are working for the Government in this context you are producing nothing! You are doing nothing to generate products goods or services that could be used to increase our GDP (gross domestic product) which is what has made us an economic power for the last 100 yrs. Obama's answer to the health care crisis is to pool everyone who can't afford health insurance on the Government dole. Which means that the working American will be paying for the non-working individuals health care! Now he says it is a right not a responsibility for everyone to get health care. Socialism at its finest, which anyone who has paid attention over the last 2 years knows is the driving force behind the Marxist theology Obama subscribes to! Now Obama blames the loss of Osama Bin Laden on the fact that we went in to Iraq! Who gives this empty suit his talking points and information? Clinton had Osama Bin Laden offered up on a silver platter and passed it up! So maybe Obamas advisers should school him on the fact that it is the democrats who allowed Bin Laden to escape and plan the attack on the Twin Towers on 9/11! Now on the issue of foreign policy it should come to no surprise that McCain won that battle hands down. Obama really showed a lack of knowledge and experience on this issue. Overall to this point I would give the debate an even split, with McCain getting a slight nudge in my opinion. Unfortunately that equates to a huge loss for the conservative base and America as a whole. I believe unless something monumental happens in the last debate, or in the time until then, I do believe that we will have our first Marxist President and our Country will basically be a ticking time bomb.





Now I would like to address the fact that 3 days post Bail-out the Dow is down 508 points. That is absolutely no surprise to anyone like myself who knew this was all a contrived crisis. Had they left the market alone, reformed Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae when it was discovered they were corrupt and let the market correct itself, we would have been better off. But because it WAS a contrived crisis to make the current administration look bad, for the lefts own political purpose, the market is going to take a long time to recover. In reality the market will recover based on how the American people trust or distrust our own Government. Believe me there will be people who have lost their life savings for retirement that are going to want to shoot and kill someone in Government over this. These self centered, egotistical politicians like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and others have basically spit in the face of the average hard working American in order to line their own pockets and bolster their own political party. This is a dangerous, dangerous time in our nations history, and I believe this is just the beginning of a very volatile 4 years for our great nation! Now as of this morning the Fed drops the interest rate another 1/2% point, to spur the market and make it look like the bail-out is working. You know when the Government starts treating the general public like they are stupid, they will learn real fast that bloggers and others who know whats going on will begin to educate the general public to exactly what is going on.



It's Thursday evening, October 9Th and the Dow Jones dropped out of sight today!! So where is the confidence that the $850 billion pork sandwich was supposed to cause to the credit and housing market? Well I'll tell you this everyone...this just backs up my theory that the bail-out was just a contrived crisis to steal an election for the Democratic party. But that being said I have to say that the American public clearly has no confidence in Congress to do the right thing with their money anymore. Now I am hearing today that the government wants to buy out all financial institutions and have oversight of all of them. This is just as I predicted weeks ago, (read past blogs), that this is just the first step in the Palosi/Reid Marxist Congressional plan to take over total control of this country in a socialistic/Marxist fashion. Still it amazes me the number of people who have bought in to the Left wing theocracy as I read letters to the Editor in my local paper, as well as the daily Mpls. Star Tribune. These people clearly have no desire to own up to their party's mistakes and illegal activities, which are out front and exposed on a daily basis. Let's talk about Acorn and the Voter registration fraud all over this country this past week. Democrats refuse to tie Barack Obama to this organization, regardless of the fact that he was the top legal representative of the organization, trained people on how to register homeless people, illegal aliens and convicts who are not legal to vote. Not to mention that Obama donated $800,000.00 to the program! But yet the Democrats say he has no affiliation with Acorn, just like he has no affiliation with William Ayers the known Terrorist, and after sitting in the church of Rev. Wrights for 20+ years and claiming he never knew that Wright was such an anti-semitic, and hater of this great country. It's getting laughable that this idiot could possibly become our next President. I recently viewed a picture of Barack Obama as he was getting off his Jet to attend a rally. In his hand was a book that he was reading with the title of "The Post American World". This book is a Muslims view of the fall and collapse of the United States. The book was written by Fareed Zakaria, an international editor for snoozeweek magazine (Newsweek for all you liberals out there!), and I would encourage all of you to google the title of the book and watch the you tube videos regarding this self proclaimed Americans views on America. The video by the BBC is probably my favorite, but they all point to the fact that there is a movement in this country by people who by definition are Americans, but who no more care about our sovereignty than they care about what the names of the 72 virgins are that they will some day be showered with. I'm telling you that we better wake up and take this country back over or we will lose her to extremists that want to tear her down and make us all subjects instead of free citizens of a United States of America!!

$850 Billion pork sandwich anyone?

I apologize to you all for continuing to talk about the economic crisis in the U.S., and the Congressional rape of the American people. But here goes...




Some of you received a copy of the "Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008" that I sent you. I mentioned all the pork that was inserted in to this bill, which in itself should make you mad enough to boil water by touching it. But I also said I would outline some of the pork that was in the bill so you would not have to read the entire 451 pages. The interesting thing is that this started out as a 3 page document and grew in to the 451 page book that it is today because of the pork additives. So without further delay, here are just some of the pork loins for us to feast on when Congress passes this bill Tomorrow (Friday, Oct.3, 2008).





Section 211-Transportation Fringe benefit to Bicycle Commuters. (A law that says an employer must re-imburse an employee for the cost of any bicycle that said employee uses to commute between work and home. Plus they must pay said employee $20 for each month of employment for energy savings.)...page 205






Title III-Energy Conservation and Efficiency Provisions. (Basically a global warming subsidy provision to the tune of $800 million) ... page 207


Title IV, Revenue Provisions; Section 401-Limitation of Deduction for income attributable to domestic production of oil, gas or primary products thereof. (Basically a decrease in tax benefits by 3% to anyone who invests in or receives benefits from anything related to the crude oil industry)...page 234

So you see, we have been forced to bend over and take it in the *&# again America. This whole thing was a contrived crisis that never really existed before the Democrats and the Main stream media decided to invent it for the purpose of handing the election over to the Democratic Left. Oh, yes I know, a lot of you are crying conspiracy theory! But if you really look at the timing of all of this starting back when the S&L "crisis" took place and we were forced to bail out those institutions to the tune of $300 Billion, and all the way to present day. I believe that within 6 months to a year after Barack Obama is elected as our next president, you will be hearing about all sorts of inappropriate dealings with regards to the Media and the U.S. Congress. There will be charges of manipulation of the housing market, the Savings and Loan system and the Credit system in this country. Nancy Palosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the Marxist pigs in Government don't want free enterprise. They don't want you to be successful, they don't want a capitalistic country and they want the general public to be, subjects of their kingdom not citizens of a United States of America. I mean let's look back to 2003 when the Bush Administration and Secretary of the Treasury John Snow tried to push reform in the housing market which failed because of Democrats and Rinos alike, because they would have been exposed as the special interest pigs they were. So moving to 2005 when again the Bush Administration and John Snow, along with John McCain warned of the dangers of cooking the books in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac institutions. Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines stole millions and coincidentally donated millions to the Democratic Party as we have already learned (check back at the last posting). But here again the Democrats blocked any reform having to do with those institutions, in spite of strong warnings. Barney Frank stands on the floor of the house and says that the future of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae looks good and strong and it will be just fine. Of course a lot of people didn't believe him, but the DBC (Democratic Broadcasting Companies) all fell in step and backed what Frank said. So the American people who live on the 6 and 10 o-clock news reports of the DBC believed it as well and kept buying houses they couldn't afford. And let's not forget how this all started in the housing market everyone...it was Bill Clinton and the Democrats that mandated less stringent requirements of lending institutions when it came to handing out loans.













Now add to that the fact that Barack Obama wants to push legislation that will allow the bankruptcy Judges to reduce the mortgage principal as well as the interest rate for people who claim they can't pay their mortgage. And they say this will also help the banks from going under. I have to ask this to Barack Obama...If I loan someone $200,000.00 to buy a house, and they decide to go to bankruptcy court because they feel their payments are too high. The Judge agrees and says he is going to reduce the principal amount to $150,000.00 and reduces the interest rate from 7% to 4%, how am I suppose to make that money up? Is the judge going to allow me to only pay back $150,000.00 of a $200,000.00 loan I took out at 2% to be able to make the loan to the idiot that just got a $50,000.00+ payday from the courts? This will drive our loan institutions right in to the ground again and allow the Government to come in and take them over as well. This, of course, will give the left exactly what they want...more control! I tell you this everyone...It may be time to to start discussing the reason our forefathers instituted the 2nd Amendment!! As of this addition to the Blog, I have learned that California is now standing there with it's hand out looking for $7 billion to offset what they have overspent; Who's next?

In conclusion I would like to talk a bit about our freedoms and what is in jeopardy in our future. As I sit here, fresh from my day in the woods. I spent time with my family, as I do every 1st weekend in October, cleaning up the deer hunting cabin, repairing hunting stands and just generally helping to make our hunting experience the best it can possibly be for all of us. I reflect on the fact that with all our faults, and Government control, we still have the greatest, most beautiful and the most free nation on the planet. It pains me to think that there is a real possibility that the same freedoms I have grown up with may not be there for my daughters generation, when they are old enough to hunt. It pains me to think that some day soon the private land that has been at our disposal for almost 50 years, may one day be taken away from us and we may be told that our guns must be turned in and no longer legal to own. I honestly feel that we will have a revolution if that ever comes to fruition, and that we will one day be forced to enforce the second amendment.

Will the taxpayer be held responsible?

I really am sorry, but I just can't get away from th financial debacle that is the Paulsen Proposal to bail out the banks and insurance companies. Now it appears that the Dems. want to add riders on to the bail out bill and fill it with pork for their respective states, with regards to failed mortgages for their constituents. They just can't help it, because they are like Piranha feeding on a freshly dead carcass. I am quite sure that before it is over we will be over a trillion dollars with this proposal. And if that isn't bad enough, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Barack Obama, and the rest of the Marxist left, want to be the ones to regulate and oversee the reform. What should be happening here is that Dodd, Frank, Johnson, Raines, Obama and the rest aught to be forced to resign and be on their way to jail. The corruption that has been entrenched within the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac institutions, by the Democratic party, is something that should be investigated. But because their are no Conservatives involved in this corruption, there will never be an investigation. By the way...the correlation between Obama's fleecing of the Chicago housing development program with Tony Rezco, and the current Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac scandal is quite interesting. How Rezco was given millions in financial aide and tax breaks to finance housing projects that have been boarded up because they were never maintained, and how 100's of thousands of dollars found their way in to Barack Obamas bank accounts in political contributions, is quite interesting. But because there is a Democratic majority in the House and Senate, we will never see any investigations and will never hear about these things in the DBC (Democratic Broadcasting Companies). I say that because I was informed by a cousin of mine that using the term "Drive-by Media" may be plagiarism because Rush Limbaugh has actually invented the phrase. So even though I do not think this is the case, I will use a term that I have come up with. I believe that the media is all in the tank together and are out of the closet as Obama supporters no matter what they say. So they all might as well be affiliated together! That is why I call them the Democratic Broadcasting Companies. Henceforth when I talk about the media as a whole, (except for FOX News Channel) I will refer to them as the DBC. I think it is hilarious that Obama says that there needs to be change in Washington, yet if that actually happened he would lose a lot of contributions and basically would lose his support from the unaccountable leftists that are running all of this stuff right now. He really is, as LImbaugh says, an empty suit. The man can't see past his own blindness of anything beyond what he has read or been spoon fed in his life.













Now Paulsen and the Dems. are screaming that we need to BAIL the financial institutions and Aig out now, or the economy will go in to a recession. Notice the bold letters in the last sentence please...because that's all it is, a bail out. There is nothing in the bill that talks about never doing this again and keeping these greedy idiots in Congress (Dodd, Obama, Frank) from stealing from the American people again. So I am going to reverse my support for the bail out, and swing to the side of "LET IT BE". As far as I am concerned...I believe we, as the hard working American public, stand to lose less if we just let these institutions fail and move on, than if we hand over a trillion dollars to crooked individuals who stole from us in the first place. Let's look at the plan as of Thursday the 24Th of September. It does nothing to pay back the taxpayer for this bail-out, and in reality holds the taxpayer responsible for the whole amount (to exceed 1 trillion before it's over I'm afraid). Plus the idea that Chris Dodd is part of the drafting the plan, is like sending the fox in to take care of the chickens for Gods Sake. Especially when the left are running around with blood and feathers all over their faces. As far as John McCain suspending his campaign to go to Washington and be a part of the "solution" regarding the bail-out. It was Not necessary of course, and although 80% of America think he did it because he is a patriot, I tend to think it was purely a political move. Now that's just my opinion, but let's examine the possibilities here for a moment. Obama was the first to call McCain and suggest the suspension of their campaigns respectively. However, according to Obama they were supposed to announce it together in a bi-partisan statement. McCain came out early with his statement (says Obama) and Obama decided that he would not postpone his appearance at the debate for Friday the 26Th of September, after McCain announced that he would not attend and wanted the debates rescheduled. Now I believe there are a lot of politics being played on both sides here, but Obama has dug himself another whole with this latest debacle I have to say. The American public feels that going back to Washington, rolling your sleeves up and doing your Senatorial job, is more important than having a debate on foreign policy. So I believe that if McCain shows that he is interested in reforming the current bail-out plan so that it doesn't add any more pork, and pays back the American taxpayer, then I believe it will help him. But let's not forget who is in charge in Washington right now people!! The Democrats have the majority and Reid, Palosi and Dodd are the ones that are going to twist this whole situation around to look like it was Bush's administration that was responsible for it all. Even though the majority of the informed people in America know it clearly was the fault of the left wing Marxists in Washington known as the Democratic Party!









I would like to address the Leftist attempt to demean Sarah Palins Quality as a VP pick recently. I have seen a bunch of editorial cartoons referring to her as simply a graduate of the University of Idaho, talking to President Uribe. I am well aware of the hatred the left has for anyone who backs a strong military, strong Economy, smaller Government, fiscal responsibility and capitalism, but for some reason their memories have gone south. She is a seated Governor of Alaska and has sponsored major reforms and ousted members of her own party because of their inappropriate behavior regarding fiscal responsibility. The only thing that precedes the DBC's arrogance and lack of responsibility, is their inability to be objective journalists because of their own selfish wants and desires. I agree with Sean Hannity that journalism in 2008 is dead, but it has been dead for years. Our school system is in the same tank unfortunately, but I will let Sheila rant about that subject.



Now I want to talk about the debate from Friday night: I thought for the most part I would give John McCain a slight advantage over Barack Obama overall. I think Obama spoke in platitudes again, and went back to the well again on the "failed Bush administration" too many times again. People on both sides are tired of hearing about the past, and want to hear about what the candidate is going to do in the future for our country. I believe that Obama was on his heels more than McCain and just did not know near enough about the subjects they were talking about. That being said I don't believe that McCain slam dunked him either and here's an example. McCain had the opportunity 3 separate times to slam Obama and expose his lack of knowledge and experience. Obama talked about giving 95% of Americans a tax break, and again as I have stated previously, only 60% of Americans even pay taxes! So McCain should have used this bomb and asked him if he was capable of adding and subtracting simple 5th grade problems. I don't know who is running McCains campaign, but they need to throw this at Obama the next time he spouts off about giving 95% of Americans a tax break. There was alot of talk about McCain ending wasteful spending in Congress which sounded great, and with Palin on the ticket I believe that may be the case, but who really knows anymore? For the most part Obama spoke in socialistic/Marxist fashion and quite frankly I expected nothing less. He talked about a broken health care system, which he would like to see socialized. Everything he talked about on the economy was leaning on the Marxist side of things and yet he kept trying to link McCain to it by saying "Well..John's right, but". So I will reserve myself to saying it was probably a draw, but the poll on Hannity and Colmes afterwards said that 85% of Americans that watched the debate on FOX thought McCain won. So it's wait and see time again in American politics. I am very excited about the VP debate on the 2nd of October because I have a feeling that Biden is going to have another moment and say something so obviously wrong and stupid that he may very well be removed from the ticket (as Rush Limbaugh has suggested is possible).

Economics 101 anybody?

I think it's time to address the economic situation in our great country at this juncture in our history. I have just about had it with the Democrats bailing out and taking control of major financial institutions in this country. They bailed out Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae, which were nothing more than money laundering outfits for the left wing political machine. All you left wingers listen up...WE ARE FED UP WITH HAVING TO GIVE YOU MONEY AND GETTING NOTHING BUT CORRUPTION AND DECEIT FOR IT!! Do the names Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines jog loose any bolts in those left wing empty skulls? These are two Clinton era Democrats that were deep into those two institutions. They skimmed and stole millions from the taxpayers of this country, and the when the institutions should have been reformed, the Dems in Congress said no! Why do you suppose they didn't want any reform for the failing institutions? I'll tell you why...because they became a private contribution bank for the left wing political machine...that's why. How about Mr. Dodd and Mr. Obama, and the rest of the left wing radical Marxists that received millions in contributions from Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae, (Barrack Obama being #2 on the list of recipients by the way, and Chris Dodd being #1). Where are they getting the money to pay for the $800 billion in bail out money for AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Lehmann, etc. ? I'll tell you where, and pay attention to this you left wing idiots...When the Federal Government stopped using gold for the standard of our nation's currency (because we couldn't buy enough gold to support the vivacious Congressional appetite) they were then able to just go to the treasury and print whatever monies they needed to do it! Who pays for this you ask...the American taxpayer, that's who. It deflates the dollar and pushes us in to a deep recession and possibly a depression if we don't stop this monster soon! Basic economics says that when you throw money into an economy without growth you have created stagflation which leads to inflation. To break it into terms you libs can understand I'll try to give you an analogy: if you have 10,000 people for 5,000 gallons of milk and the price is $2 a gallon, then you fly over and drop money on the street and infuse that society with say a million more dollars without any production, now you have just given the market a reason to inflate the price of milk to $5 a gallon because the demand is the same...production is the same...but the income for that society is higher. YOU CAN'T JUST KEEP PRINTING MONEY AND THROWING IT AT FAILED INSTITUTIONS WHICH YOU CAUSED TO FAIL!!! As a footnote to all of this...Raines and Johnson are both senior advisors on the Obama campaign.

Now let's talk about the Congressional drilling bill shall we? I should be getting all excited and beside myself for the fact that Congress has come up with a new bill for drilling and refining oil, right?, wrong! Once again Nancy Palosi and her left wing posse have screwed the American people and disguised it as a comprehensive, bi-partisan bill to drill for oil. What they don't tell you is that the bill allows drilling anywhere they want offshore, as long as it isn't within 50 miles from shore or less. Well anyone who reads about what's out there for deposits knows that 80% of the oil available offshore is within 50 miles from shore. So once again they are acting like they are doing something and in fact they are doing nothing! Same-ole Same-ole as far as Congress goes I guess. It's getting so tiring to see the Left taking over our economy one business at a time, and there will never be any investigations into these institutions, because it would expose the Democrats that have had their hands in the coffer for years. So just keep paying your taxes as they go higher and higher, and just bend over and grab your ankles everyone. Unless you get involved and begin to oust these thieves from our government, it will only get worse! Also I am really tired of left wingers saying that Barrack Obama is proposing a tax break for 95% of Americans, when only 60% of Americans even pay taxes. Can you people on the left even count or work with money at all, unless you skim, steal or are just handed it from lobbyists and institutions that you yourself have created? It's so distressing to hear and read about Obama talking about the economy when he knows nothing more than what he has been fed by his Marxist friends the last 25 years. He has changed his stance on taxes verbally to appease the fact that a majority of Americans are fed up with taxes, taxes, taxes. In reality I promise you, if he is elected, he will raise taxes like we haven't seen in a long, long time. Make no mistake my friends, it is part of the left wing agenda to have private business fail in this country, because it opens the door for our out of control Congress to go in there, bail them out and now be in control of them. And the American taxpayers are the ones footing the bill. It's about beating the American citizen down financially and creating a society that is totally dependent on them for everything. And get ready for the rest of the buildings to begin to crumble! Because when the Clinton administration as well as the Republican majority Congress refused to fix the problems in the mortgage industry, and mandated less stringent requirements for buying a home in this country, it wasn't just Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that were beginning to spiral down. When the government took over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac they limited the maximum amount they could lend to $413,000.00. Wait until we start seeing what happens to houses in the premium neighborhoods of our nation like coastline homes and high income neighborhoods around this great nation; it isn't over by a long shot! What worries me is that the Dems are having success tearing our economy down and may be able to ride that all the way to the White House. See, the people who will vote for Obama quite honestly are not used to thinking for themselves about anything. They're used to being told what to do and just sitting in the corner and accepting whatever happens. So either we as conservatives, again, wake up and take back control of our city councils and school boards, or we deserve what we get!

Now make no mistake about it everyone, this had been coming on for a long long time! Ever since Franklin D. Roosevelt's Administration implemented the FDIC and the FSLIC to guarantee to people they won't lose up to a certain amount of their deposits, people began to take greater risks with their money. What kind of message does it send when we start bailing out private companies in the name of a stronger economy? I guess if I was going to start a mortgage insurance company and begin insuring banks all over the country, I would take risks that I wouldn't normally take because I know the Federal Government will bail me out if I fail. I think it's time to make companies purchase their loan insurance from private companies who will watch their dealings with great diligence. If you were that insurance company and you had a client doing very risky things with their clients money, you would tell them that their premiums are going to double or maybe even that they will be dropped as a client if they do not cease and desist. We need to get back to letting the free market police and reform itself like it has been doing since the inception of our constitution. Get government out of our daily dealings and let the people who do stupid, greedy things with money go down and fail! Until people are held accountable for their actions again, we will continue to have these kinds of problems.

Conspiracy Theory time everyone; Keep your ears and eyes open because there is a good chance that Joe Biden will be dropping out of the VP slot for Hillary Clinton to move in. The Dems are for sure trying to figure out a way to get this to counter Sarah Palin, but how? I believe, as does Sean Hannity and a few others, that it will be a fake medical situation with Biden and his Aneurysms, or something like that. He will effectively be taking, in boxing terms, "A DIVE" for the Democratic Party. Watch and see!!

Pistol packing, Hockey Mom!!

Wow, where do I even begin with the topic of Republican Presidential Nominee's, (John McCain), pick for VP. I, as probably 95% of Conservatives and Republicans in general, never saw it coming when he picked Sarah Palin. Now as most people that know me know, I am not enamoured by John McCain and have been vocal about not supporting him on election day. I have been more concentrated on the Congressional and Senate races, because I believed and still do, that this is where the battle will be won or lost this year. BUT, that being said, I think it was a brilliant pick and here's why...

Palin is a working mother in America, something that the left embraces in theory, and she will steal a lot of liberal women from the Obama side; make no mistake about that! The Hillary Clinton supporters are going to swing over in droves! That in itself should be enough to damage the Obama machine enough to derail the train on election day. The only thing the left has to fight this is the issues she supports are too right for a true liberal. The interesting thing about this is that NOW, (National Organization for Women), has come out in opposition to Sarah Palin, because of how she stands on issues. Anyone who belongs to this organization or knows anything about it knows that this goes against the principles that their organization was founded on...lol. I believe their biggest foundation is women's rights in politics and the work place and being community leaders alongside men as equals. I challenge anyone to quote to me from the platform of NOW anything that references how the woman stands on issues of the day, it just isn't in there!

Palin is not Washington as usual, as she was the driving force that sponsored legislation to eliminate earmark spending in her home state of Alaska. Something that both the middle and the right have been harping about for years, and to inform my readers...the only seated member of Congress that is moving along those same lines is the Congresswomen from my home state of Minnesota CD6, Michele Bachmann. I find it interesting that the two government officials that I know of that are for eliminating earmarks (not just talking about it) are both women. I may have to rethink my views on a woman's ability to be president of the greatest country on Earth!!


Palin's views on abortion, the second amendment, fiscal responsibility, and oil exploration, just to name a few, are enough to make a lot of conservatives feel a lot more at ease when choosing a ticket for president this year. I for one wish it was a Palin/McCain ticket and not the other way around, but we have to start somewhere. As I create this blog I have been made aware that McCain/Palin hold a 10 point lead nationally by people most likely to vote from the USA Today Poll. This does not bode very well for the Obama/Biden camp as they are on their heels and treading water right now. I was able to listen to Rush Limbaugh on Friday the 29th of August before I left for Canada. He was just giddy over the Palin pick, and just as surprised as as the rest of us. I haven't heard Rush that happy and energized, in a positive way, in a long time! It was enlightening to see that the left went after Palin's 17 yr old daughter because she was pregnant and yet unmarried. Yet when the right went after Michelle Obama because of her outspoken hatred for this country, we weren't supposed to talk about Obama's family. Once again hypocrites to the end is what the left has evolved in to.

With regards to Obama's statement that "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig" I have this to say. The press doesn't believe that Obama said this directly about Sarah Palin, but I have to say that I believe he did! I really believe that he thinks he is above all moral standards and etiquette, and believes he can say whatever he wants and get away with it. It clearly shows his inexperience and shows, yet again, to the American public that he is clearly not ready to lead our nation! He lost a lot of female support when McCain picked Palin and I doubt this comment is going to win any of them back, and in reality will probably lose even more female support this November.

I would like to finish this issue with a few words of support for some fellow SD48 constituents and members of the full committee. We've spent a summer stripping seated rhino's of the Minnesota House, and forcing them to pay for the bad choices they made as representatives of our great state. Now we have had our primaries, and those who would fall have fallen, as well as those who have prevailed need our party's support. As a party it's going to be impossible to fix what has been severely damaged over the last 20 years in one election. I am quite excited that the conservative base, at least in the state of Minnesota, has been energized in to enthusiastic rebellion; so to speak. But now it's time to concentrate on the election at hand and then begin to put together the curriculum for the Campaign Education Committee in SD48, to begin teaching perspective candidates for the next election what they need to do to win! One seat at a time...One Ward at a time...One District at a time, let's continue to take our great state from blue to red. I would personally like to thank all of you who have worked with me this election year and I look forward to celebrating victory with some of you after this is over! God Bless America!!

Woodstock III, 2008 (Denver, CO)

As I watched the DNC I couldn't’t help but think about the fact that it was coming across to me as basically a rock concert on a massive level. The problem is that the main liner was hollow, had nothing of excitement for anyone other than the brainwashed followers that were swooning like a bunch of Parrot heads waiting for the second coming of Jerry Garcia. The fact is that there was very little of any substance to what Obama said in his acceptance speech on Thursday night. He did however go out on a limb and throw statistics out there that obviously were factually untrue, but sounded good to the parrot heads. He talked about unemployment being up under George Bush, when in actuality it has gone down or stayed level. At present unemployment is at 6% which is less than what it was in the Clinton era. He brought up how Government failed when it came to hurricane Katrina passing by the fact that it was actually the failure of the local government (mayor and governor of LA) that screwed it all up, not the Bush administration.

He talked about how John McCain has voted with George Bush 90% of the time. What he didn’t tell them is that so did he and Biden, because 90% of the votes in the Senate are unanimous and of little stature or controversy. It was a big pander of a self appointed Messiah to his people that he was going to take all he could from the people who have worked hard and earned it, and give it back to them while they sit on their couches watching Oprah on their LCD televisions and working for nothing. He talked about the plants that have closed and of course blamed it on corporate taxation, when apparently he thinks everyone forgot that he wants to raise the corporate taxes even more! I for one would like to see a mandate that everyone who professes to want to be president should have a working knowledge of economics in a free enterprise, capitalistic society! He talks about a tax code that benefits the common working man, then spouts overtaxing big business. He still can’t see the obvious beyond his own bloated ego. Big business does not pay taxes! If you tax them more, they just raise the price of their product or service to make up the difference. So once again Obama, pay attention here; the tax is on the consumer!! Then he spouted off about eliminating our dependence on foreign oil in 10 years, which is a total flip flop from what he said previously when he stated that he was going to flat eliminate our NEED for oil period within 10 years. And he is now on the side of pursuing natural gas and nuclear power all of a sudden!

Then he spouts making cars more affordable, yet he is promoting mandating that the car companies work on electric and alternative fuel versions, while saying that he is going to tax big business…not sure how that will balance out!! Not only that but he obviously, and to no ones surprise, is talking about hiring new teachers and paying them more to teach (indoctrinate) our children. But how can we do that when the unions have a tenure system that doesn’t allow new teachers to make more than they do? Then he talked about family responsibility, when he clearly believes that abortion is ok. And of course he spouted off about how he did not support the war just days after 9/11 when he was not even in the damn Senate at the time and had no vote…idiot!! He wants to pull out of Iraq now, lose the war, to be able to appease the left and their desire to lose the war; so they can say…"See, I told you so!!" Then he said he would rebuild our military, when almost in the same breath he said he would de-fund our missile defense system because it was frivolous spending! I am not sure Obama has a single clue on what defending our country takes. Then he makes a comment about getting AK-47’s out of the hands of criminals so that citizens won’t need to have guns to protect themselves…unbelievable!!

Then he talks about McCain saying that the middle class was anyone under 5 million a year income. Honestly, is this man fit to be President of the United States? I think not!! Because McCain never said that and never even eluded to it in the least, just another leftist/Marxist spin on the truth. The reason that most of this rhetoric will sway a lot of independent voters is because they are a confused voting block. They, for the most part, are people who do not take the time to look up information on candidates and what the facts really are. They listen to what the drive-by media says and that is a dangerous thing!

As I sit here in Canada, on vacation and watch the bald eagles fly around in complete and total freedom, I can’t help but think that what we have back in the US is but a mere shadow of what we used to be. The freedoms we have are being taken from us one day at a time and if we do not stand up as a society and speak our minds and feelings at the voting booths, we are doomed to the fate that most apathetic society’s experience. I for one hope that we can overcome this onslaught of Liberalism/Marxism and correct what is possibly the most destructive plan ever to be executed on this great nation, and sadly it is from within it’s own governmental process! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
